Listening to Dudley while riding and staring to my left at the illuminated golf course, eerily bright in contrast to the pitch black in the fore and background.  I first notice the strange lighting, and then realise it’s because there’s a golf course here - people want to play golf, at night.  But it sure makes a strange view, really.  Also quite beautiful…

Stars.

I have to go out stargazing one night soon.  I even emailed the president of the Adelaide University Astronomy Club about events they have coming up, but I haven’t heard of a star-gazing night yet.

I’m a bit scared to go out thought because recently I heard that some guy got assaulted in Brompton on Chief St, which is basically one street away from where I live.  Heard it was a bunch of 16-17 yr olds.  Better start closing my gate.
