Cockroaches

I hate cockroaches. As I was walking in the beautiful streets today, I saw an enormous dark shelled insect scurry in front of me to meet its demise at the smelly feet of an old grandma. And when I say enormous, I mean about 1/3 the size of my palm. Think of an enormous cockroach. Have you ever seen anything more repulsive?
Personally, I think anything with legs beyond multiples of two compared to our legs are repulsive. Four legs I can handle, I think of dogs, cats, lizards, etc.. Cute furry things. Six legs gets disgusting - flies, cockroaches, etc… 8 legs I think of spiders. Daddy longlegs are pretty cool, same with the robot in beast wars. They’re pretty cool. But anything with hair and 8 legs is pretty disgusting.
Next topic: Food.
Imagine a dinner setting. The setting is medium dark, candles are twinkling, cutlery are clinking. The air is cold and crisp, and the environment is pretty good. Company is good as well. The waiter brings a steak/favourite dish chargrilled to perfection. Laughter is heard coming from all the tables. Then, the bill arrives.
Instantly the atmosphere changes. Company becomes silent, and people pull out their calculators. When that happens, I think: why do I have to be asian.
Its true, and you know it. Asian parents always calculate to the last cent, unless they’re dining with close friends or someone they can gain from. And I don’t blame them, money is hard to get by. But I just hate those situations. And why on earth is food so damn expensive. I could cook 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 dishes with the money I pay for food at a good hotel.
But I still enjoy it. Does that make me a hypocrite? huh? huh?
PS: These things don’t really annoy me, they only annoy me slightly. Its fun to rant about meaningless stuff tho. Until the next random thing pops in my mind, thats it.
Jerry

where are you now jerry? where are these beautiful streets you are talking about?
I hate cockroaches.. i think it’s a pretty universal thing though… i don’t really know anyone older than 8 who likes cockroaches
“When that happens, I think: why do I have to be asian.”
LOL. I actually laughed out loud. It’s so true…
And I liked the rhyming twinkling with clinking.
