another random update
And interviews are (mostly) over. Colossal effort guys, especially those that turned up even when they didn’t have their shifts… and those that turned up in the middle of their lunch breaks… and those that turned up before and/or after work. Awesomeness abounds in Adelaide. And anything anti-Adelaide is answered with a :P. Except for the water, I still haven’t got over that since the start.
Anyway, today is both a sad and happy day for me. Sad because I have friends in Lincoln College that are graduating this year and therefore are going back to their own countries and therefore I will not see them for a long time. Happy because… they are graduating? Oh well. Facebook is a good invention. People should have facebook chips implanted into the back of their hands so that Facebook can track where they are going and automatically update the status instead of making me type it in myself and then get a little reminder saying “update your status” a couple of days later.
Anyway, no poem today (I can already hear the dedicated readers of which I believe there are not so many saying “yes!” or remaining silent and hoping for something relevant. Which I will not give at this point. Sorry.) Mostly because at 3am last night I was packing my room into boxes over the holidays rather than writing.
Ah, inspiration…
As books and bags and clothes and shoes
Fit into this tiny box,
They shall be taken out next year
With promises of lots.
Not bad for five minutes… i guess. At this point Ego has just sent me a message with news of results. YAY a shiny ngp! … well that just means non-graded pass. Which is the best I could have hoped for really, considering the alternative is a non-graded fail. Gratz to Ego as well. And Affy and Amanda and Nick and Will and Joel and Lea-Ara and everyone else I hear from from now on after I post. I really really want to confirm with people that they passed asap so I can stop worrying completely.
Anyway, I shall finish the endless task of packing now.
