Again procrastinating from exam study. Bad. Here is something I decided to procrastinate on. Jonathan reintroduced me to the song “We’re going to be friends” by the White Stripes recently and taught me a bit of it on the guitar. Here is a corruption of it that I believe is both less disturbing than my last post and more reminiscent. At least, I hope.

People show up two weeks late
Generally in a messy state
Showing up in random spaces
Medcamp beckons, limited places
Everyone but me is drunk off their faces

And we don’t notice any time pass
We don’t notice anything
Everyone is in every single class
Hearts and livers and lungs and kidneys
ECGs CBEs and history taking

First year’s gone and we’re all friends
cramming till the very end
Tomorrow is the SAQ
Last exam for me and you
Adelaide med is the course at uni to do
SATAC course code three one four five five two…
