Fighting on the streets was done with a crowd of people watching. I’m not sure the purpose of this exercise, although I am partly sure that the crowd was somewhat intentional, for the purposes of finding justice, hoping that someone would call the fight lost or won. Regardless, the Graeco-Roman wrestling match taking place didn’t seem to be going anywhere fast. The crowd of people also were largely passive, most of the people watching simply stopping their bikes to watch the scene and then moving on when it was not interesting anymore. This is one of the more bizarre things about China I still haven’t figured out.
