I found this dog by the roadside, and being the caring soul I am, I knelt down and…. took a photo. Two girls almost immediately came to the dog, picked it up, and said they would take it to care and safety. I’m not sure if I would have necessarily done this if they had not arrived. It was a moment of morality, one of the moments where I probably truly blended into Chinese society more than at any other times.
