Well, that took ages. 5:30 to … well, about 11pm. Nonetheless, much of the Thursday Nerd Gang (as it is affectionately known on Facebook) and many others stayed to vote. Extension Med’s Djfiesta is now co-chair of the Adelaide University Surgical Society, while Andrew Vanlint deservedly got Pre-Clinical Education rep.

The Thursday Nerd Gang looks forward to further support from the AUSS through this year and the next, and hopefully we are training a lot of new tutors, for 3 years’ time.

Tomorrow is the Howard Florey Badge Day. yay, I get to walk up and down Rundle Mall asking for donations towards medical research. It all goes towards a good cause, so if you are on Rundle Mall tomorrow, and you see us clad in our boilersuits PLEASE give generously and know that you are contributing to future medical breakthroughs that will save lives and improve the quality of life of future generations.
