Another year, another convention. Kudos to all the people who made the fair effort of coming to our town and partying the week away.
The wonderful thing about this AMSA convention is it really brings people together and you make friends with those you would have had no chance to otherwise.
In med you really get to know your year level cohort, and as time goes by, you get to know those in the years above and below you, which is very good, but still rather restricted. Convention gives us Adelaide people a chance to meet another 700 like minded students, and really let loose. I’m very thankful for this once yearly tradition.
Crazy shit happens at convention.. stuff that dreams and nightmares are made of. You have this inner superpower, the ability to drink, sleep less than normal, learn, then drink.

Some pretty funny things happened this convention, and I guess they should remain secret as long as possible, but I can’t wait till next year to rock Melbourne, and I hope everyone here will join me.
